Make Your Mark
The 2016 theme for the BMA Lantern Awards was Make Your Mark, which celebrated the huge impact that marketing professionals have on business and beyond. Using the hashtag “makeyourmark,” marketers were encouraged to share how they are making a difference with their customers, their company or within their community and to create buzz around the event. The microsite showcased several Houston-area professionals and featured how they made their mark in 2016. The campaign brand featured dynamic and artistic “marks” paired with bold, brush script typography to create a personal and vibrant look and feel. A rich color palette was also used to boast a more positive energy and reflection on the past year.
