The year was 2012, and everyone was certain the world would end on December 21. When BMA Houston came to Unleaded to be the creative sponsor for its annual awards gala, we stepped it up with a play on an apocalypse theme: Zombies, aliens, a giant asteroid and many other pop-culture references were used throughout the collateral. Posters were sent out as a call-for-entries, and the microsite featured a custom countdown to doomsday. We even decorated the event tables with handmade cardboard signs and survival items like canned food and laser guns. To say the least, the event was a big hit, ending the year with a real bang!
